What kind of resources must you use when constructing a reptile cage? This distrust was posed to me once by a celebrity wishing to build their own reptile cage. They were chiefly asking about pine and cedar as they had heard these were no good. But it did raise the difficulty about what are the best materials.

MDF or craftwood: Same as for Melamine but also much cheaper. Good for use in blend cages ie Melamine base with MDF sides, back etc. It can be painted, has good thermal properties and if used in conjunction with a glaze bits and pieces such as Contact, will hold damp well. Exceptional to work with and has a charming finish. You can also use thinner sheets as it retains its rigidity. Some associates commend draining a mask when bitter or routing MDF as it can be dusty.

Pine or Cedar: Neither of these timbers must be used to assemble a cage. Construction the whole reptile cage from the pine or cedar has ability shape harms for the animals.
